Some people might look at and listen to Amber Marchese and be completely impressed and they’d be right to think in this way since she has accomplished a few things in her life and they are worth the accolades. But then when you dig a little deeper on her and begin to realize that she’s not exactly a squeaky clean individual when it comes to her morals or her character it becomes a different story. Some folks would likely defend everything she says and does, and that’s their choice, it’s their belief that she’s still a decent person. But simply standing down and not having an issue with a few of the things she’s said and has participated in seems to be more than a little questionable. In fact it seems as though she wears a different face for different situations like many people, but the other one isn’t all that nice.
Here are a few things you might not have known about Amber.
10. She exited the Real Housewives of New Jersey after just one season.
The details of why this happened is something that you could possibly read in interviews and articles aplenty, but whether it would be the absolute truth is anyone’s guess since there are so many issues that arise on these shows.
9. At this time she’s in her 40s.
Amber has done quite a bit in her life, there’s no taking away the accomplishments she’s earned and the level to which she’s risen. Whether it would have come had she not married the man she’s with or if it had taken a little longer, the general feeling is that she still would have been able to rise to fame.
8. She owns her own fitness and consulting company.
She’s been a big believer in fitness for a while and has obviously kept up with it since this has become a big part of her personal and professional life. Given that this can be a very profitable business, since people with money are almost always going to want to spend it in various ways, it would seem that she picked the right profession.
7. Amber and her husband tried to sue American Airlines.
Long story short, she and her husband tried to sue the airline when it was apparent that the attendants misconstrued their ‘snuggling’. They attempted to sue for $100 million, which is ludicrous enough to say more about them than a flight attendant’s reaction to whatever they were doing. The airline in turn sued them right back, and eventually both lawsuits were dropped. Feel free to laugh, I did.
6. She’s been through breast cancer twice.
This is a pretty serious matter to have gone through twice and there’s nothing else to be said other than she’s obviously very strong-willed and has more heart to her than some might be willing to give her credit for. Some might be callous and say that she simply didn’t want to die and so therefore survived out of spite, but I’ll be nice and say it plainly: she’s a strong and very lucky woman.
5. Amber was diagnosed with lyme disease.
This is treatable but it can be quite painful as it causes a rash in the vague shape of a bullseye and can be rather irritating. Usually it’s spread by animals or ticks, which means that it can be experienced without much warning if one goes traipsing out in the woods or any areas that are known to harbor ticks, which seem to be a common carrier.
4. Her point of view on being gay is that it is a harmful choice that is ruining American youth.
The context of this is hopefully something that was taken way past what she really meant, but she seems to have doubled down on this idea more than once and has gone on to say that being gay in America seems to be more of a trend than anything else. Cue the outrage.
3. It doesn’t appear that she enjoys her viewpoint being challenged.
Honestly there aren’t a lot of people that enjoy their point of view being challenged but she seems to take it personally now and again, as though whoever disagrees with her is openly challenging her way of life.
2. In a way it’s surprising that her social media presence isn’t any bigger.
She has enough followers to be noticeable, but at the same time all those people who love drama must have found another outlet to follow.
1. She’s been a part of the discussion as to why her stepson isn’t getting his college paid for.
Go ahead and roll your eyes as you hear that not only is someone whining about not getting their schooling paid for, but they also started a GoFundMe account to go to school. And on top of that, the rumor that is spreading is that her stepson isn’t being paid for because he’s gay, which she and her husband have denied. But the real reason they gave, that the school the stepson wanted was a waste of time, is just more icing on this particularly rancid gossip cake.
She’s a unique individual, that’s for sure.
