Young and the Restless fans are all kinds of excited about things. The trial has officially begun, and it’s crazy. There is new evidence, there is no question that Nikki is going to jail the rest of her life for this, and we also think that there is a good chance that everyone else is going with her. These are women who committed horrible crime in the name of defending their friend, and it’s going to cost them. We watched as Victor about lost it in the court and had to leave, but we loved seeing Nikki blow him a kiss in the meantime. Kyle will do anything and everything to see Lola and be sure that she is all right after her near-drowning accident, but her brother will not allow him anywhere near her. He’s crushed, but Summer is probably going to end up saving the day in some way, shape, or form — even though she doesn’t want to.
And let us not forget the fact that Mia is nothing short of a total monster. She is nothing but awful. She’s a master of horrible behavior, and we are still confused why she wants to stay married to Rey when she knows it is his brother she wants to be with. She’s faking a pregnancy to do what? Stay married to a man she doesn’t want? Why? What is her game with this one? What does she feel that she will get from this one? We don’t know, but we do know that she’s a mess and most people are going to end up wondering why she’s even here. She might be one who is gone before we know it, to be quite honest. We aren’t sure she fits in too much.

Summer has been tested as a donor, and today is the day she is going to get an important call. And we wonder if one has to do with the other. Is there a chance she is a match and this will work for her? Will she make this happen, or will there be more that she has to do and more that she has to deal with? We aren’t sure she can handle what might happen to her if this is the case, but she’s willing to do it. And that will mean a lot. Meanwhile, Jack is working hard to stage a takeover at his own family company. He’s not doing this with Phyllis any longer, even in Kerry is on her side. He’s done, and he will not have any more of this in his life. He’s going to do whatever he can to make sure things work out in his favor. This is one of those situations in which they have a lot more to offer than we thought.
But there is going to be a lot of opposition in this situation, and it’s all coming from Phyllis. She’s got a lot to handle, and there is not much else she can deal with on that one. She’s going to need to do what works for her, but she will do it at Jack’s expense. She’s not just going to let him take over the company with his own name on it, either. She’s putting up one big fight.
