Days of Our Lives fans are excited to get the year started with a bang. We certainly hope that the New Year was a beautiful one for all. If you weren’t happy with the way your life went in 2018, we are happy to say that it’s a new year and we fully trust that you were able to get your feelings in order and begin the new year on the right note. It’s been good to see everyone change so much for the better — even when it doesn’t feel like it — over the year, and that’s one thing we can say for the characters in Salem. We’ve seen it all go down, and we think that some people handled it a bit better than others. For example, we are certain that we think Abigail could have handled herself a lot better, but she did better than both Gabi and Chad for that matter.
Ben stepped it up after showing up at the beginning of the year to ruin a wedding and then make it public that Will was not, after all, dead. And then he continued to change lives and make things happen in the moment, and we loved seeing all that go down. It’s been interesting to see how many people have changed and just how they’ve managed to make that happen over the year, and we are excited to see the way things might go for everyone as the new year gets on its way. But for now, we have to remind you that the show was noticeably absent this week, but it’s back. It’s a new year, with new stories, with new answers, and with new situations that we are all so excited to see unfold. We cannot wait to see this happen, and we cannot wait to ride this out.

We aren’t really resolution people. We prefer to make changes in our lives based on the fact that we want to make new goals and do new things. And that’s where we stand. What are you? Do you have a word of the year? Do you make goals or do you make resolutions? What’s your story?

It’s a big day in Salem, and not just for a few people. For so many people. It’s the day that Jack is back, and he makes his grand return. He’s making moves and waves and changes and he is going nothing short of getting his life together in more ways than one, and we cannot wait to see it all unfold for him in the ways that are in his future. He doesn’t remember his daughter, but she absolutely remembers him. This will be a painful and interesting week for him, and this will be something that we cannot wait to see unfold in so many ways. We are excited that things are working so well for everyone in question, and that’s one thing we cannot wait to see. Will he regain his memory the same way that Will did?
And more pointedly, are there more people who have no idea who they are and what they are dealing with around here? Are there more people who died but didn’t really die but have no idea who they are or what they are doing around here? Are these two men the only ones, or are there more of them in the mix somewhere? Who else died years ago who might just come back and make big changes in Salem for everyone who is involved in all of this? Is there more? Will there be another change in their lives? Will this work at all for them? What will happen for these people and their lives? Can we handle it when it all goes down?
