Just when you thought you’d seen enough interesting themed cakes, along comes Natalie Sideserf to bring an entirely new level of realism to such a tasty treat. Recently she made an incredibly realistic cake of Mike Ehrmantraut from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul which shows somewhat of a sweeter side. It’s so realistic that seeing Natalie (who’s really cute by the way) next to Mike is pretty striking.
“The inside is made of layers of vanilla cake and swiss buttercream,” explains Natalie, owner of Sideserf Cake Studio. “Once carved, the entire cake is covered in a layer of chocolate ganache and a final layer of modeling chocolate to sculpt the details.” The cake was even featured on a promotional video clip on the AMC network.
But if you think that this is Natalie’s first go at a cake that you won’t believe is a cake, think again. Her skills are on display at her studio and we of course have pictures of some of her best work below:
