It might be better to ask why we’re not talking about anything but Jeremy Piven’s hair at this point. It could also be that we’re not talking more about it simply because we’re not talking about Jeremy Piven all that much to start with anymore. While the guy has proven in the past that he’s a good actor the whole scandal that went ripping through Hollywood about sexual harassment and misconduct charges against a slew of men kind of dampened the excitement that usually arose when talking about anyone. Now it seems that talking could lead to a lot of problems that many people want to avoid and could possibly even create the kind of issues that might end careers and lead to massive lawsuits. But talking about Piven’s hair is something that just doesn’t seem all that important at this point.
Beyond that, it would seem that Piven has found a way to regain the hair he lost to possible genetics or something else that he might not want to discuss. However he did it is something that some people would find interesting but in truth this is kind of odd. Many people wouldn’t want to discuss just why and how they found a way to replace something that’s rather inconsequential unless a person is that superficial. Since this is Hollywood it’s kind of assumed that since some folks have a certain look and reputation to uphold that being superficial is just another way of life. Piven has experienced a few ups and downs throughout his career, especially in recent years it seems, and despite that has kept his signature look whether he has hair or not. The expression in the pictures above would indicate that he wasn’t too pleased with his baldness while he’s more confident when he has a full head of hair. How he went about getting it back though is something that people will no doubt continue to guess at no matter if he states how he managed to regrow his hair.
In all honesty the subject is something that seems pretty silly. Who loses their hair, who gets heavy, and who just doesn’t look the same is a big thing in Hollywood and in fact it’s a big thing no matter where you go. Being hung up on looks is a very human trait since the more attractive one is the more attention they seem to garner. Yet for all that being attractive doesn’t afford one much more than a few glancing and approving looks when it comes down to it. In fact having his hair back hasn’t managed to save Piven’s career as of yet, if that’s possible at this point. He’s been a good actor and is fun to watch whether it’s a comedy or a drama but with so much hanging over his head at the moment it’s hard to know if he’s going to come back and be as good as he was.
But obsessing about his hair still seems….well, silly.
