The Bold and the Beautiful fans know that Steffy is not giving up hope that she and Liam might actually make their marriage work. She forgets that there are things that some people struggle with, like forgiving your wife when she sleeps with your father. So Liam isn’t in the best place right now, and she’s using that to her advantage. She doesn’t know it, yet, but he thinks he is the man who shot his own father. And he is struggling. He also just admitted to Hope that he might still have major feelings for her.
And then he kissed her. And she let him. So when Steffy has the chance to kiss him, too. She goes for it. We don’t know if she’s going to read him incorrectly and assume he wants more than he does, or if she is going to just go for it and assume he will openly tell her to back off if that’s what he wants her to do.
Whatever it is, her timing is impeccable. He has no idea how to tell her that he is in love with someone else and he just kissed her. He can’t tell his wife this, but she can ask him for forgiveness for sleeping with his father. There is a lot going on here, since Hope did tell Steffy she doesn’t want to be with Liam even though she does. And this is going to take a major turn for the worse in the coming days.
