Ajit Pai is an American Attorney who was born on 10th January 1973. He serves as the chairman for FCC (Federal Communications Commission), and he is the first Indian American to work at the position. At the recommendation of Mitch McConnell, President Barack Obama was the leader behind the commissioning of Ajit to the commission in 2012. Since then Pai has worked in different positions at the FCC. In 2017, the gentleman was designated as FCC chairman by President Donald Trump. Over the years he has come out as a staunch supporter of the termination of net neutrality regulations.

He Does Not Seem To Understand How The Internet Functions
It is quite evident that Pai lacks policy and historical knowledge about how the internet operates after making his remarks on the intentions to terminate net regularity regulations. Pai wrote for The Wall Street Journal stating that he wants to undo the Obama administration rules regulating web like a 1930 utility. Millions of Americans including celebrities have expressed displeasure with his stand. Ajit, however, does not seem to care about what people around him are trying to say because he is determined to see it through.
Pai Had Been Sceptical about Marriage
Most of his friends would say that Ajit did not believe in love until he met his wife, Janine Van Lancker. It was perhaps because he had a fair share of relationships that did not work out; thus, leaving the poor lad with more questions than answers. Pai was not one to lose hope as he still accepted an invite from a pal to meet his lady friend. His potential blind date had low expectations about the meet-up. However, after meeting, they were both impressed with each other became friends and later decided to pursue a relationship that led to their happily ever after story.
Ajit Pai and His Wife Spent 1.4 Million on their Home
Ajit who has two children with his lovely wife spent $ 1.4 million to buy a house in Arlington Virginia. It is quite a piece of property with six bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms. The residence sits on ½ an acre, and it also comes with all the necessary luxuries. Some of these include a 40-foot lap pool, library, a whirlpool tub, and many walk-in closets.
His Family was Dragged into his “Mess.”
Following the dissatisfaction about his proposed net neutrality rollback, Ajit claims that his family was subject to harassment from members of the public. Supporters of his rules showed up at his house telling him to back off and stop being evil. It is an act that does not sit well with Pai because he believes that the family is sacred and it should be off-limits when it comes to protests. Instead, people who do not agree with his sentiments should be open for debate.
Ajit Worked for The US Department of Justice Antitrust Division
Thanks to his strong legal background, Ajit Pai secured employment with the Justice Antitrust division in the United States. Note that he is an honors graduate of Harvard University with B.A in social studies a major that featured an interdisciplinary combination of political science, history, anthropology, sociology, and economics. From here he went to the University of Chicago Law School. His primary role at the job was to work on mergers and acquisitions as well as novel requests for the regulatory relief after the Telecommunications Act of 1996 was enacted.
