General Hospital fans know that Nathan and Maxie have not been in a very good place the past few weeks, and they are not in a good place now. They have something they need to do. They have to either make a decision about fixing things or they need to call it quits and move on from one another. They only thing they’ve been able to do successfully at this point is upset one another. She’s working to get back into the good graces of his sister, and she let go of his secret.
And now they are facing some serious issues. They have more issues, too. He became good friends with her enemy, kept some secrets from her, and now he’s wondering if this is going to work. He’s not interested in spending any quality time with her even though she is interested in spending time with him. He can’t seem to get over what is going on with his own feelings, but she can’t get over what she feels.
They’re doing everything but speaking to one another about their lives, and they are not going to get anything else done. They are going to make their situation so much worse without spending any time working on what makes it better. They’re going to get further into this hole without discussing with one another how they feel for one another. This is not how they want to end things, but it might just be how they end things.
