For a long while, there were concerns that the television series, Hannibal, would not get past its third season. Not until recently has there been many opportunities that the show could be salvaged by new ideas and evolved content. The creator of Hannibal, Bryan Fuller, has been talking increasingly about the potential for a season 4 of the show. There seem to be several new ideas about the direction the show could take that would revive the life and performance of Hannibal for the future. While the executive producer, Martha De Laurentiis, admits that there are several hurdles that they must get over, the reality of the show returning is much closer than it was months ago, which is great for everyone involved.

It doesn’t take a great deal of latitude to make the leap to postulating that this financial hurdle played a role in the demise of the series.
The question now is whether or not the producers and their teams have resolved the piracy issue so that it does not create issues moving forward. One thing is certain, it seems that everyone involved is working to make sure that at least one more season of Hannibal hits the airwaves. This should give fans of the show something to look forward to.
