Bachelor in Paradise to Resume Filming: Corinne Olympios Will Try to Get Mileage Out of This

After shutting down production of Bachelor in Paradise, Warner Bros has concluded its investigation into the incident involving Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson.  It will now resume production of its fourth season.  Warner Bros. released a statement saying:

“As we previously stated, we recently became aware of allegations regarding an incident on the set of Bachelor in Paradise in Mexico.  We take all such allegations seriously,” the statement read. “The safety, security and well-being of the cast and crew is our number one concern, and we suspended filming so that the allegations could be investigated immediately and thoroughly.  Our internal investigation, conducted with the assistance of an outside law firm, has now been completed. Out of respect for the privacy interests of those involved, we do not intend to release the videotape of the incident. We can say, however, that the tape does not support any charge of misconduct by a cast member. Nor does the tape show, contrary to many press reports, that the safety of any cast member was ever in jeopardy.”

The internal investigation was launched after a sexual encounter between DeMario Jackson and Corinne Olympios on the first day of production lead two producers to file the misconduct complaints, questioning whether Corinne was able to give consent.  Corinne called herself “a victim” and Jackson said his character “has been assassinated.”

While none of this was technically a hoax or anything like that, you can be sure the show and Corinne Olympios are going to milk this incident as much as possible.  The show is slated to premiere in August and you can bet the editing department is already very hard at work.

I wouldn’t at all be surprised if Corinne Olympios sues Warner Bros.  If she doesn’t sue, I can all but guarantee you see her crying about being a victim very very soon.  She and “Cash me Ousside” girl Danielle Bregoli need to be bowling teammates.
