Slowly but surely Zac Efron is turning into the kind of superstar that everyone assumed he would be. It was looking a little lost for him for a while after his initial fame from High School Musical but ever since Efron announced that he had gotten control over his drinking, he’s been a new man. I feel like he’s one good performance away from being an A-lister. I would say that technically he’s an A-lister right now but it’s more in a Dwayne Johnson kind of a way, which is certainly no bad thing. Efron gets all the “hot guy with a good body” roles but I think even Efron wants to prove he’s more than that.
Efron will be playing Ted Bundy in a new film which is a stark contrast from his normal “frat guy” persona. Last night to promote the film Baywatch, Efron stopped by Jimmel Kimmel Live where the conversation got pretty funny because Kimmel couldn’t let up on trying to find out if Efron and Madonna had more than an innocent hook up.
“Is it possible that she was trying to have sex with you? It is possible that Madonna maybe switched the signs so you’d be seated together?” Kimmel asked. “Madonna is an irresistible person – when she sets her sights on someone, there’s no escaping.” “She is captivating in that way,” Efron responded. “I can’t confirm nor deny that. “Did she touch you in any way?” Kimmel continued. “Did she touch your leg?” “Um. Maybe. But there was a lot of moving,” his guest answered. “Everyone was touching everyone.”
