General Hospital fans know that when a marriage is over, it’s over. But for Sonny, it’s not over until he has signed divorce paperwork in his hands, and his wife is no longer his wife. He doesn’t believe that being separated and in a fight is a good reason to sleep with someone else, and he’s not at all happy to find his wife in the middle of a passionate moment with another man. He’s especially unhappy to find Carly with Jax, who is her ex. Now things are escalating to a point they’ve never escalated for these two, and their own children are choosing sides in this devastating issue.
Nelle has done some serious damage to this family, and even trying to undo what she did wrong didn’t work. It’s only made things worse as it caused Sonny to walk in on his wife with another man when he came to tell her that he just found out he was never with another woman. There’s some serious irony in that, and we did not miss out on it. He also didn’t miss the fact that his wife seems less happy and more upset to find out this kind of news, and that is not at all how he expected her to behave.
Michael is in a bad place once he finds out his girlfriend lied about sleeping with his father, and he’ll be even more upset to find out that his mother is sleeping with her ex. He’s not even sure where he stands with things at this point, but he is not happy with Nelle at all. Kristina is quick to take her dad’s side when she finds out that the truth is Nelle drugged him and lied, and that means she’s going to have some bigger issues with the fact that Jax is hanging out around her stepmother. Josslyn isn’t thrilled her dad is the one who is to blame for all that happened, but she’s ready for her mom to ditch Sonny for good so she’s going to let it go and move on from that against Sonny.
