Without a doubt Kerry Washington’s portrayal of Olivia Pope on Scandal is one of America’s favorite things to watch on television. In the simplest terms, Olivia Pope is a crisis manager running the consulting firm Olivia Pope & Associates, dedicated to fixing problems and crises; protecting and guarding public images and reputations; and solving certain crimes in her clients’ interest. That’s kind of a nice way of putting it don’t you think?
