Donald Trump Asks Crowd to Pray for Arnold Schwarzenegger on The Apprentice

Doing something that’s non-traditional has already become a mainstay for President Trump. In an unprecedented move while speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast, Trump decided to buck the tradition and ask the crowd to send their prayers to Arnold Schwarzenegger and The Apprentice. Trump boasted about the success he had while he was on the show and said

“The ratings went down the tubes” since Arnold Schwarzenegger took over as host of his former program, Trump said. “It’s been a total disaster … And I want to just pray for Arnold, if we can, for those ratings, OK?”

As you might imagine, Schwarzenegger responded with something a bit classier.

“Hey Donald, I have a great idea. Why don’t we switch jobs? You take over TV, because you’re such an expert in ratings, and I take over your job, then people can finally sleep comfortably again.” The former governor of California was obviously a bit ticked off but I think the public is going to like his response. We’re still waiting on a Donald Trump tweetback but something tells me it’ll be in the vein of “nanny nanny poo poo, I’m President and you’re not.”

Really? At the National Prayer Breakfast? Sure Trump went into political discussions and talked about “business” in our country but to bring up The Apprentice? The collective world is shaking its head right now.
