So Many Stars on the Finale – but Who Won The Voice Season 11?

Who Won The Voice season 11
While waiting to see who won The Voice season 11 viewers were treated to a ton of music stars performing.  Steve WonderSting, and Bruno Mars are just some of the major names that took to The Voice stage.  There were also some great bring back numbers with the Top 12!

The Best Finale Numbers With The Voice Season 11 Singers

There were way too many songs to cover in an article, and lots of solo star performances.  However, The Voice is about finding the new stars.  Out of the numbers where the The Voice Season 11 contestants performed, these are the ones that stood out above the rest!

Wé McDonald and John Legend – “Love Me Now”

Watching this number you realized that Wé McDonald is set whether she won or not.  Between her coach Alicia Keys and being on the radar of John Legend, we can expect to be hearing a lot more from Wé!

“Proud Mary” – Billy Gilman, Ali Caldwell, Christian Cuevas, Courtney Harrell & Sa’Rayah

Billy Gilman brought back Ali Caldwell, Christian Cuevas, Courtney Harrell & Sa’Rayah.  The best thing about this fabulous piece is that Billy was wise enough to leave the stage and the women just run with it!

Okay, yes, this was a bittersweet reminder that not one of these four artists performing with Billy were in the finale. Because at least one of them should have been. “Proud Mary” represents the roots of blues, rock and soul.  Yet there was no one capable of doing what this group did!

“Love Lockdown” – Wé McDonald, Aaron Gibson, Brendan Fletcher & Darby Walker

Wé McDonald brought back Aaron Gibson, Brendan Fletcher & Darby Walker to do an arrangement of this Kayne West hit.  (I guess the melody was hidden under the original’s use of autotune. )

What a great way to showcase these unique singers! Each singer was allowed to shine and be completely themselves – and Wé stitched it all together.

Sundance Head and Kiss – “Detroit Rock City”/”Rock and Roll All Nite”

This was a straight-up, no-holds barred, rock-n-rolling, good time!

So…Who Won The Voice Season 11

Each of the final 4 four got a state of the art home studio as a prize.  No cars this year, but, really,  this is better!  Carson said it was so that can continue writing songs and making music…(like these guys would stop!)  Still, there can only be one winner.  Josh Gallagher was fourth – not a surprise.  Wé came in third.  Once we knew that, we knew the iTunes multiplier was the thing, so it wasn’t a shock to see  this ending.

Congratulations, Sundance Head!
