Megalyn Echikunwoke, who plays Vixen on The CW’s Arrow just released this awesome photo of she and her stunt double for the show. Turns out that it’s none other than MMA fighter Rochelle Okoye. Next week, while Felicity deals with her new situation, Diggle leads the team, including his brother Andy, on a mission against an old enemy from Shadowspire. Here’s the official synopsis of the next upcoming episode called “A.W.O.L.”
Diggle (David Ramsey) must learn to trust his brother Andy (guest star Eugene Byrd) when an enemy of their wartime past, an agent of the criminal organization Shadowspire, pays a visit to Star City. However, Diggle learns more than he bargained for about their shared time at war. Meanwhile, Oliver (Stephen Amell) has to learn a whole new way of life. Charlotte Brandstrom directed the episode written by Brian Ford Sullivan & Emilio Ortega Aldrich.
Unfortunately there’s not much mention here of Vixen, and that’s because she won’t reprise her role until episode 15. Vixen, a street smart model who inherits a mysterious family heirloom that grants her the powers of the animal kingdom, Mari will appear in episode 15 of Arrow, which is entitled “Taken.” Here’s the trailer for A.W.O.L.
