“Fix it in post” is a phrase uttered by filmmakers who screw up a shot but don’t want to undertake the time-consuming process of redoing it and hope that the editor will remove or obscure the mistake in post-production to make it less apparent to the viewer.
Judging from some of the posts on the subreddit r/WellThatSucks, however, it seems that contractors also live by these words. But when their Plan B fails, the consequences are much bigger than a broken suspension of disbelief. Like a hallway that looks like a scene from the Titanic.
