The Moscow-based makeup artist Oksana Trunova and hairstylist Olga Tarasova have been putting the smiles back on women’s faces when they want a change but have no idea where to start. The duo started “blind makeovers” five years ago, and their online fanbase has since grown to 32,700 Instagram followers.

The idea came after Oksana, who previously worked in a beauty salon, had women tell her to “do something” that would alter their looks but “they didn’t know what they wanted.” Today, Oksana and Olga enjoy seeing the eyes of their happy clients who just underwent a dramatic transformation. “We are not only stylists, we are also psychologists,” the makeup artist told Bored Panda in an interview that you can read in full below.
