Days of Our Lives fans are always so excited when things work out fin our favor, and that often includes getting to see some of our very favorite stars on the screen in other roles. There are so many things going on right now that do make us feel good, and we love that it’s the time of year when the best television is on. It’s time for Hallmark’s Countdown to Christmas. It’s a time in which we get more than a little excited about all that the world has to offer, and what it means for us, and how we will go through that with panicking in any way, shape, or form. There is so much going on that we can see happening, and we cannot wait to see some of our favorite Days stars in the movies. Here’s what you can look forward to in the coming weeks.
Two Turtle Doves
The air date for this one is on Friday, November 1 at 9 pm on Hallmark. This is a movie starring the lovely Nikki DeLoach. She was on the show for about two years back in the 2007 — 2009 range. She played Brenda, and she was so good. Her role might not have left her playing the character for very long, but she came in and she did what she had to do and she did it well. She was good enough that fans were able to see her working the role with some ease and serious talent.
She’s going to spend her night on television as the wonderful Dr. Sharon Hayes. She will star alongside Michael Rady, who plays the father of a little girl she will treat in this movie. She has to do something for herself that includes spending a little bit of time in a small Christmas town — which we are certain you never would have guessed being that it is a Christmas movie on the Hallmark Channel and all of that — looking for a family heirloom we think was lost to her and her family. While she is in the town, she will meet a man who has a young daughter. They are both sad, we assume she will treat this little girl in some way, and we both guess she was also spend some serious time falling for this man and his little girl before the movie is over.
The movie will involve a Christmas miracle. It will involve snow. It will involve all the things that are good for a Hallmark movie this time of year, and it will make us all feel happy and sad and excited at the same time. This is one that will premiere the day after Halloween, allowing the Christmas season to start just a little bit earlier than usual this fall. While we are not all about decorating for Christmas until Thanksgiving is over, because it’s too much all at once, we are all about getting into the spirit and the excitement of Christmas with the movies that come on television at night. We can get on board with this one, and it’s brand -new. Hallmark is famous for making some good, albeit sometimes very cheesy, fun movies that bring us some serious happiness. We love it, we are all about it, and we don’t want to see things fall apart for anyone around here. We are down for it. This is one of those times, and this is one of those movies.
If you cannot see it right away, rest assured that it will probably air several more times throughout the course of the holiday. There is nothing wrong with catching it on another night, but you can record it if you need to. You’ll have your chance, and we are excited to see her in yet another movie that’s airing this time of year. She’s no stranger to the Hallmark movie life, but it’s always fun with some of the characters we loved on the daytime circuit. Days fans who remember her will be so excited to see her on the screen again since it’s been a decade since we saw her on the show. Welcome back to television, former Days star.
