Young and the Restless fans are living through the shock of everything that’s happened to Cane this week and last. He’s in a terrible place, and his life has taken a turn for the worst. We imagine he didn’t think that his life could get any worse after all that happened to him. Losing his job, his wife, the anger his kids feel for him, the fact that his kids were stuck in a burning building. We think there’s a good chance he assumed his life was already at rock bottom when he went through all of this in such a short period of time.
Little did he know his pregnant one-night stand would have a medical emergency prompting her to need emergency surgery that killed her. He certainly had no idea that his son would be born so early and need so much medical attention just to survive. It’s been a very sad situation for everyone, and we can’t even begin to imagine how hard it’s been on him.
But he’s got to figure it out. He’s on his own right now with this baby and no idea what to do. He has to figure it out, make the appropriate life changes he needs to get his life back in order, and he has to make sure this baby has a chance. We think he can do it if he calms down long enough to think it through, but it’s not going to be easy for him now.
