The Top Five Steve Buscemi Movie Roles of His Career

Steve Buscemi is a king among actors for many reasons, but one of them happens to be that he’s one of the hardest workers in Hollywood. If you’ve seen any of his movies, or even just a movie with him in it, then you can agree that he’s a weird-looking guy. He doesn’t seem like the person that you would see as lead material and in many cases he usually isn’t. But he has a presence about him that’s altogether impressive and doesn’t bow down to anyone’s expectations. This guy is just a great actor and a welcome addition to any film he’s in really.

He does take some getting used to but it’s worth it.

5. Fargo-Carl Showalter

Carl is kind of like the antsy guy that you don’t want to provoke because then he gets dangerous. Before that point however he’s a lot of talk and not as much walk. He can’t even keep his mouth shut for more than a few seconds at a time and really he seems like just HAS to talk, like he’d explode if he didn’t. Yet for all that he acts like he’s the boss and most times in the movie it feels like he doesn’t have a clue.

4. Reservoir Dogs-Mr. Pink

Mr. Pink is that guy who thinks he knows something about everything and is trying to sound wise and on point but he really just comes off as annoying and kind of standoffish. That’s okay however since that was the character and that’s how things needed to be for the movie. The robbers were six guys, only a few of them that knew anything about each other, and by the end it was Mr. Pink that got away.

3. Airheads-Rex

Rex has a huge chip on his shoulder and it shows. His dim-witted brother Pip tends to get all the ladies without trying and yet he can barely survive on his own. When it comes to being the brains of the outfit Rex is kind of lacking but what he doesn’t have in intelligence he more than makes up for in enthusiasm since he’s kind of the showman of the group and the guy that just says what he’s feeling rather than wasting any time thinking about it.

2. Mr. Deeds-Crazy Eyes

Crazy Eyes is awesome. In fact I think he’s one of the best parts of the whole movie despite the fact that he only gets a few scenes. Imagine a guy that’s so messed up in the head but still has moments of perfect clarity. He can’t see for anything and yet he gets around on his own and takes care of himself fairly well. Maybe he’s a retired veteran that prefers a life of solitude, it’s hard to know since he doesn’t have much of a back story.

1. Things to Do In Denver When You’re Dead-Mister Shhh

This character is just awesome since he really doesn’t say much and doesn’t have to. If he comes a-calling it’s enough to know that things have reached another level and if you’re not up for it then you need to step aside.

He’s awesome no matter what he’s in.
