South Korean Presidential Candidate Releases Free StarCraft Map for Votes

After the election here in the United States, there’s no telling what kind of implications it’s going to have on international elections.   I’m not even talking about the administration itself.  I’m talking about the election process as a whole.  You would have to think that Presidential candidates might get a little more “elementary school” in their tactics.  There might actually be some benefit to doing things like offering free candy on Wednesdays or a new vending machine in the cafeteria.  These kinds of empty promises are what landed Trump in the White House so why not do it elsewhere?  That’s what’s going on in South Korea.  According to Kotaku:

Presidential candidate Moon Jae-in, who appears to be the front runner, has released two versions of a custom map called “Moonters” (geddit?) to mark StarCraft going free. The maps are available on the politician’s official blog. As tipster Sang points out, the map is just an existing one with a big pile of minerals in the middle that reads “1 Moon Jae-in.” (The other version of the same map has “1″ in the top right corner.)

P.S. this is NOT a joke.  This is real.   I feel like we’re one step away from candidates offering people money to vote for them.
