If you’re an aspiring sandwich shop owner you might want to take a few tips from Kyle Gus and Serge Petoka. These guys are employees of a popular eatery in Canada by the name of Big Star Sandwich. Being tasked to come up with a sign that would draw some foot traffic, Kyle and Serge used the only sensible inspiration and Canadian sandwich shop could use: Liam Neeson.
The tow found out that the star was in town filming Hard Powder and decided to try to get him to show up. The two put out a sidewalk sign that read, “Liam Neeson eats here for free.” The other side read, “Come in and get Taken by our sandwiches.” The guys put the sign up on a Tuesday morning and that very afternoon Neeson showed up to claim his sandwich.
As you can see, these guys were pretty stoked to have Neeson there. Neeson merely stuck with his tough guy character for the shot.
