Jordan Peele is set to return to cinemas with his next feature, scheduled for an October 23, 2026 release. This Halloween release aligns perfectly with Peele’s established flair for horror.
The director made a monumental shift from comedy to horror in 2017 with Get Out, which won him an original screenplay Oscar, along with nominations for Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Actor for Daniel Kaluuya. The film was a major success, grossing $255.4 million globally on just a $4.5 million budget.
Peele continued his success with Us in 2019, which earned $256.2 million, and Nope in 2022, which raked in $171.2 million.
His upcoming project will be produced through his Monkey Paw banner. He also has the Marlon Wayans-starrer Him due out this September.
Peele stands out as a rare director whose name alone can draw audiences to theaters, especially when it comes to horror—a genre that consistently defies box office fatigue.
