Young and the Restless Spoilers: Is Billy Going to Change?

young and the restless spoilers

Friday’s episode of the Young and the Restless shows us a few of the different storylines that have been a bit on the backburner as of late. With the kidnapping of Adam and his safe return going down, as well as with Billy’s recovery and all that is happening in the land of the Newmans and the Santoris, it doesn’t come as a big surprise that smaller storylines might not be a big deal. Everyone knows that Nikki and Hilary are not all that friendly with one another, and that they have their issues. It seems that they have forgotten about them as Nikki was a bit preoccupied with the fact that Adam was missing and that Victor was so busy worrying about that he didn’t even tell her about it. She’s not happy with him and the fact that he is always so distracted with everything else in his life that he does not have time for her. She’s not pleased, and she’s willing to show it.

She and Hilary are arguing again, which comes as no surprise. However, their argument on Friday will turn so ugly that we understand Hilary will call her out as a former stripper and tell her that everyone in the town thinks that she pretends to be classy so that people will forget, but that no one will ever forget that Nikki is just trashy; a former stripper who wants to be someone she is not. Nikki, used to unkind words and Hilary’s antics, will rebut with an argument of her own and things will turn cattier than ever.

We know that Devon caught his father with the woman that he loves and he is not speaking to him, but not much has been said about recently. Not as much as you might think, that is. Devon is furious with his father and does not want to speak to him, but Neil wants to speak to his son. He’s sorry, but he doesn’t think that his son is doing the right thing. However, when he approaches Devon about speaking to him, Devon will shut him down and tell him that he doesn’t even want to hear another word from him since it’s all obviously crap to begin with.

YTR spoilers

Billy is still recovering nicely, but it appears that he is back to his old ways. He promised his wife that he would change and that he would live an honest, good life now that he’s been given a second chance and now that they have been given a second chance together. Unfortunately, he’s still a sneaky liar doing precisely what he wants to do with no regard for Victoria’s feelings or their children. He is working with his mother to take down the Newman family, and they kidnapped Adam. Sure, Billy was in the midst of a coma and not in the right mindset to have anyone kidnapped, but from the way that Phyllis and Billy are speaking of the situation when they are alone and no one is listening, they’ve been planning on this for a while and Billy just had the misfortune of being in a coma while it all went down. Of course, that might be precisely what make it possible for him to get out of being blamed for the entire thing.

Now that he is back to his old ways and still remembering what is happening in his life prior to the accident, he is that much closer to helping the authorities find the car that hit him. We know it was Noah, and we know that Noah is not handling the situation well. On one hand, he’s relieved he did not kill anyone and will not go down for murder if he is caught. On the other hand, he wonders if Billy has or will remember his car and place the blame on him. Life is not good for Noah at the moment, and he is seeking refuge wherever he can find it. Sadly, he’s finding it at the bottom of a bottle at the moment, and that is not something that will go well for him in the coming days.
