Days of Our Lives fans will see that Chad is going to hold something back from his wife. He is not going to tell her that there was a time when she went to bed with his brother. She will not learn from him that she had sex with Stefan, and she will never know if he can do anything about that. He will not allow his wife to know what Gabby did when she was in her body. And he will not tell her because he doesn’t want to her know that she’s been raped.
At the end of the day, that’s what happened to her. Stefan might not see it that way. He was with a woman who was totally okay with the fact that he was taking her body for himself, but that wasn’t Gabby’s body to offer. She wasn’t a real person, but we do hear she will come back and find a way to see him to say goodbye.
But Chad will do anything and everything in his power to keep this from her. It’s for her own protection, and we don’t disagree with him. However, we do know that she will eventually find out, she will be horrified, and she will not forgive him for lying to her. She will feel that he is keeping secrets, that there are things he doesn’t get to decide for her, and it could be something that tears them apart for good. And we aren’t sure she will see it from his perspective.
Chad isn’t sure that he is making the right decision, but he feels that he is making the best decision. There’s so much at risk for his wife right now, and he’s not sure how to make sure she’s all right. There’s so much on his mind and in his heart, and he’s just not sure that things will really work for him. Can he get this situation under control, or will he make it a point to see things turn out for the best if he has to continue to lie to her and get her to believe what he says?
