Danielle Olivera Parts Ways with Summer House to Focus on Personal Priorities

Danielle Olivera is bidding farewell to her journey on the Bravo reality series Summer House before season 9.

Olivera joined Summer House in season 2 and has been on the show for 4 seasons. On Tuesday, she announced in an Instagram post, I’ve come to the heartbreaking decision to not return as a full-time cast member on the upcoming season of Summer House, emphasizing that it was not an easy choice.

Expressing gratitude to NBCUniversal, Bravo, and Truly Original for understanding and supporting her decision, Olivera added, If I can’t put 100% of myself into filming, genuinely and authentically, it really doesn’t feel right doing it in a full-time capacity. She stressed that trust in her gut feeling played a significant role in this tough decision.

Olivera explained her priorities now lie with her business, loved ones, and of course, herself. She added, Right now I need to protect and prioritize the things that matter most to me – my company, my people, and of course myself.

The Network Support

The New Jersey native noted the network’s support in her capacity shift back from a full-time member to part-time in past seasons. I was fortunate enough to be able to take a step back Season 4 as well, and it ended up working out better than I imagined, reflecting on a similar tough decision made previously.

Lindsay Hubbard Comments

Lindsay Hubbard looks forward to understanding the rift between herself and Olivera in season 7. Mentioning the initial stages of their divide, Hubbard cited that her engagement played a role. Still hopeful about fixing things, she stated, I don’t think anything is ever beyond repair in life. I don’t think any relationship unless it’s like extremely abusive is beyond repair.

A Fond Farewell

Although no specific reactions from other cast members were mentioned about Olivera leaving the show, it is evident that her absence will be felt. While Olivera did not detail potential reasons directly linked with her departure from the show beyond personal priorities, she remains invested in rooting for her Summer House family.
