Chrishell Stause, renowned for her roles in soaps like All My Children and Days of Our Lives, will portray Yasmine “Yas” Shields. Her character is described as “a glamorous and successful businesswoman in pursuit of an exciting new opportunity.”

The show airs daily from Monday through Thursday on Amazon Freevee in both the United States and the United Kingdom. Filming is slated to begin in Australia in July.

The daily Australian soap has been airing since 1985 and has seen numerous stars pass through its cast list over the years, including Kylie Minogue. Reflecting on her past role, Minogue once remarked, I started acting some years before that, but my kind of big break and I guess how I became a household name was through Neighbours in 1986.

The show secured two 2024 Daytime Emmy nominations: Outstanding Daytime Drama Series and Outstanding Guest Performance in a Daytime Drama Series for Guy Pearce’s appearance. These marks the first nominations for the show in the United States.
