All American: Homecoming has officially been canceled at The CW, marking an end to the series with its third season. The news comes ahead of the new season’s premiere in July.
The network expressed its gratitude for the efforts invested in the show: We want to thank the cast, crew, producers, NK, Marqui and everybody at Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television for their hard work and dedication in telling these important stories for three incredible seasons. Executive producer Nkechi Okoro Carroll shared her deep sadness on learning about the show’s end. I’m devastated to learn that All American: Homecoming will not be moving forward with more episodes and that this new season premiering in July will be our final one

Cast Changes Due to Budget Cuts
The announcement also brings news that due to budget constraints, regulars like Peyton Alex Smith and Kelly Jenrette will step down from being regulars on the show. While Smith may make appearances as a recurring star, Jenrette has agreed to reduced appearances throughout Season 3.
