Young and the Restless fans were a little surprised to see that Phyllis interrupted Billy’s proposal to Victoria, and that’s not really a moment he can get back and make work for him in the near future. But, there are other things that do seem to make a bigger difference in the grand scheme of life, and that stuff is good news for many. For example, we do know that there is something that will work for Cane. He’s been working so hard on figuring out what to do with his own life and his own situation, and now he has to face the facts that he might not have much else to do with his wife. She’s done. His kids are on board with him moving on with his own life, and everyone seems to be falling apart in his mind. There’s not much they can do to stop what is happening in their lives, but there is a lot they can do to move on.
For now, though, we have to ask if there is anything else that Traci can do to get Cane to work with her. She had an idea for a book, and now she wants to use Cane as her inspiration. He’s not all that on board with her decisions, and we do get that. But, we also get that there is so much that would work if he was willing to work with her on this one. Will he, though? And what about the fact that Mariah got this message that seems downright upsetting and strange to all of us? What about the fact that there is so much going on that doesn’t seem like it makes sense? Will this take them back to something that needs an answer?

Is it normal that we love them but we don’t like them at the same time? We think that Mariah could do so much better, but yet we see them and love it? Maybe we don’t make much sense, but that’s where we are as people.

Devon is working on his life, and he is going to make a comeback. He is ready to get back out there, to take his life back by the horns, and to make sure he’s able to get his life under control. He is working on a new life for himself after losing his baby and his wife after the accident, and he’s not going to have some obstacles along the way. We know that he seems better than ever right now, and a lot of that might be due to Ana and Elena. But we also know that he is going to face the very unexpected loss of his father in the near future, and that is something we all grieve. His father, Neil, is played by recently deceased actor Kristoff St. John, who unexpectedly passed earlier this year, and we know this will affect him significantly.
Phyllis has words to share with Billy, and we assume some of those words are to ask him what he is thinking going off and trying to marry Victoria. We know that some things never work with this couple, and this seems to be one of those things. She’s lost a lot recently, and she’s not about to let another situation get in her way, and she’s not a big fan of Victoria. In the meantime, however, we also know that Nikki is about to find someone willing to play for her team. She’s not expecting this person to come to her or work with her, but it’s what we are getting. We can’t wait to see.
