The Top Uses of Halsey Songs in Movies or TV

It kind of seems like Halsey, who was a social media sensation to start with, had to tone down her music to really get accepted by the mainstream and become something of a star as she wanted. She doesn’t appear to have had the easiest of lives but she’s on top at this time and where she seems to want to be. Her music is something of a haunting, almost decadent quality that’s quite nice when you listen to it, as well as a little bit seductive.

In many ways she seems like a modern-day mixture of many artists that have specialized in powerful lyrics and a seductive sound throughout the years.

5. Bad at Love

SNL is where a singer goes to either get their brand moving a little more or to just get a little more exposure so that they can continue to claim that they’re popular and deserve to be where they’re at. Halsey has earned the right to be called a star but there still seems to be something that might be holding back her full potential. It could be the simple act of belonging to the mainstream now, but that feels more like an excuse than a reason.

4. Fifty Shades Darker-Not Afraid Anymore

This franchise has really seen kind of a downturn in the transition from books to movies since the first film got mixed reviews and the second and third have been hyped but still don’t seem to be pulling down the numbers that were desired. Of course in taking a book and turning it into a movie you won’t always see the same expression of ideas that the author has tried to push through. In this type of movie it would almost have to be X-rated to get the true feel of the book.

3. Nerve-Hurricane

This would be an odd game to play, especially considering that it’s all online and you have no idea just who is daring you to do so many different things. Plus you’d have to possess nerves of steel to do some of the things that you can see throughout the film. But when it ends up that someone is just playing you and doesn’t care about the outcome then it might get a little dangerous and prompt an early exit.

2. The Huntsman: Winter’s War-Castle

The play on so many different legends and fairy tales in this modern era has produced some truly disturbing and yet amazing images. The wicked queen has undergone a lot of changes in her time on the big screen, as have so many other characters that have been spoken of and written about throughout the years. Yet as awesome as it looks this movie didn’t get a whole lot of credit for being much of anything but another action movie.

1. The Originals-Castle

The horror genre has certainly changed over the years and has become a great deal more civilized than ever before. A brewing war between vampires, werewolves, and witches might have once been considered an opportunity for an all out special effects and gore fest, but as of now it’s become little more than a game that involves more words and behind the scene machinations than anything.

Halsey has the kind of voice you hope to hear on many a soundtrack.
