Game of Thrones is admittedly a series where it can be a bit hard to keep track of things between dozens of characters spread wide across many different continents in George RR Martin’s fictional world. Both Martin and HBO realize this, which is why he puts maps in his books, and why HBO crafted the intro to be map-based as well, where it zooms around to the different locations that you’ll see or hear about during whichever episode you’re watching. And yet, that might not be enough for some fans, who are still confused with the tininess of Martin’s maps or the motion of HBO’s intro. They want something more solid they can hold onto, a Game of Thrones map they can study and figure out just where all the action is taking place. Well today you’re in luck, as I’ve tried to hunt down some of the coolest, best looking, most informative Game of Thrones maps out there. Here are five in particular you might like. On most you will click to enlarge in some form or another.
The Official HBO Map

This one might satisfy all your map needs, as it’s the official on crafted by HBO to help with finding out where locales are on the show.
The House Map by Sanjota

This map has a focus on the great houses of Westeros in particular, so you can know where exactly all the different families are coming from.
Sprawling Map by Sjefke-04

This one is probably the biggest one on the list and makes the world look absolutely enormous. It’s quite pretty too.
The Road Map by ToixStory

This one is called a “Steampunk” map by its creator, but I don’t see any gears or goggles on it, so it looks pretty standard and clean to me. There are few roads in Game of Thrones, but this looks like a more traditional road map to me.
The Map of Braavos by Torstan

Alright, I figured you had enough maps of the wider world, so I wanted to highlight this incredible map which is specifically of Braavos alone. I really want to know how they built that Titan.
Any more you’ve found that are great? Link them in the comments. Otherwise, I hope you’re now a bit more educated about the ins and outs of Westeros and the other locales of the world.
