‘Bachelorette’ alum Rachel Lindsay is pushing back against her estranged husband Bryan Abasolo‘s significant spousal support demands. Although willing to offer almost five figures monthly, Rachel argues the amount is exaggerated.
Disparity in Monthly Earnings
According to new legal documents acquired by TMZ, Rachel suggested she should be providing Bryan Abasolo with a monthly payment of $9,882. Based on their earnings, Rachel brings in $61,019 per month from her media career, while Bryan’s gross monthly income is calculated at $13,413 from his work as a chiropractor. 
Bryan’s Financial Claims Disputed
Bryan has stated he made merely $16,000 throughout 2023. However, Rachel expressed skepticism about this figure and mentioned his potential earnings through social media channels. 
Household Expenses and Residency Issues
In her revelations, Rachel claimed Bryan has refused to vacate their shared residence and hasn’t been contributing adequately towards household expenses since initiating the divorce proceedings. Bryan filed for divorce back in January, and surprisingly informed Rachel via text message only 30 minutes after a face-to-face discussion where no such plans were disclosed.
Lamentations over Lack of Prenup
The absence of a prenuptial agreement has become a critical issue for Rachel during these proceedings. She revealed that during The Bachelorette, she bestowed Bryan with the coveted date rose and shared several pivotal moments with him throughout the show.
After seven years of meeting on the reality show, they have ended their marriage journey.
