The eagerly awaited return date for Yellowstone has finally been announced.
The second half of the fifth and final season of Taylor Sheridan’s modern Western series will premiere on Sunday, November 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on the Paramount Network. Internationally, Yellowstone will be available on Paramount+ in Canada on November 10, the U.K. on November 11, and in Latin America, Brazil, and France later in November.
After a prolonged hiatus since January 2023, the series resumed production in Montana last month.

The ever-pondering question about Kevin Costner’s return as John Dutton has been a hot topic. While promoting his upcoming two-part movie Horizon: An American Saga, Costner expressed his feelings during an interview with People magazine saying that amid speculation about his exit from Yellowstone, he was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment for his contributions.

The actor revealed that when Yellowstone was pitched to him initially, it was presented as one season and a long movie
. Despite this initial plan, Taylor Sheridan‘s series saw significant success and extension, prompting Costner to commit for additional seasons. As he shared his narrative:
I’ll do it for three seasons, and I ended up doing it for five.
The unforeseen hiatus period of 14 months left Costner feeling unproductive. I could have done a lot of things in that time
, he said. This period marks a significant gap in Yellowstone’s production timeline but also draws a line under Costner’s TV role as John Dutton according to his current stance.
A Potential Return?
Costner tantalized fans with the possibility of returning to wrap up the saga surrounding John Dutton. He mentioned: It might be an interesting moment to come back and finish the mythology of this modern-day family.
However, he stressed he would only consider it if he agreed with the proposed direction.
