The anticipation is building as fans of Poker Face eagerly await Season 2. The good news was delivered by executive producer Rian Johnson, who took to Instagram to announce that filming is officially underway.
Johnson’s post included a snapshot of the slate, where writer and director Tony Tost made his excitement known: First day of filming [Season 2] of Poker Face. Still counting my blessings that I’m getting to step in and help make a new season of one of my favorite shows.
For the uninitiated, Poker Face features Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale. Charlie has a unique knack for discerning lies, which she uses as she traverses the country solving mysteries—a format reminiscent of classics like Columbo and The Rockford Files. The first season attracted an array of guest stars including Adrien Brody, Chloe Sevigny, Nick Nolte, Judith Light, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Ellen Barkin.
