Moore’s Suspension from RHOA Explained
Following Kenya Moore’s
suspension from The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) for allegedly sharing explicit images of a new castmate, Burruss shared her insights on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast.
The show is wild, right? We’ve had some crazy things happen on our show. And a lot of people are like, ‘How can you support that?’ And I’m like, at the end of the day, she didn’t make up anything about somebody, Burruss stated.
Controversial Events at Moore’s Salon Opening
Moore shocked party attendees at her salon grand opening by displaying posters of Bravo rookie Brittany Eady allegedly performing an intimate act. According to an insider, the images were readily accessible
online. However, at no time was Kenya ever threatened with a weapon, nor was there ever a weapon present during the course of production,
clarified a production source.
Kandi Burruss Defends Her Friend
Burruss emphasizes that reality TV stars cannot control how others react to their actions:
The ladies on our show and on different shows on reality TV, when you say something to someone or you make a threat or you come at somebody in a negative way, you do not get to determine how strong the shade or whatever it is that’s coming back at you. So that is my thing, she opined. She also asserted that it wasn’t necessary for Moore to be nice about it.
Moore Responds to Allegations
In light of the controversy and her indefinite suspension from RHOA, Moore took to social media to reaffirm her stance:
I would never engage in revenge porn … I have always been vindicated. I can’t talk about STORY even with people planting fake news #sweet16?
The Future for RHOA and New Cast Members
Despite the upheaval surrounding diva drama such as this, RHOA is moving forward with both veteran stars and newcomers. Returning stars include Porsha Williams and Drew Sidora. New ‘Housewives’ include Shamea Morton, Brittany Eady, author Kelli Ferrell, and real estate mogul Angela Oakley.
Burruss plainly iterates that Moore is doing well despite being shut out from the remainder of Season 16 production.
