Authorities are currently on the hunt for Erica Zimmerman, a 37-year-old woman, in connection with the tragic death of Louie Cervantes. The incident took place in April, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department made the announcement on Monday.
On April 11, deputies responded to a call just after 7 p.m. regarding a traffic collision at the 1600 block of Valeport Avenue. Cervantes was found lying in the middle of the street, receiving aid from a bystander, but unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities soon revealed that the fatal incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. Zimmerman is now wanted for murder as it was discovered Cervantes had been struck by a vehicle and succumbed to his injuries. This development was disclosed shortly following his untimely death.

The Sheriff’s Department has issued a request for public assistance in locating Zimmerman, who was initially only wanted for questioning before becoming a suspect.
Zimmerman is described as being 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing around 140 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Authorities also mentioned that she is known to frequent Rosamond.
