Angus T. Jones, the former child star best known for his role as Jake Harper on the hit sitcom Two and a Half Men, made a rare public appearance in Los Angeles on Sunday. The now 29-year-old actor looked completely different from his days on the popular show.
In exclusive photos obtained by Page Six, Jones was seen sporting a casual outfit including a loose-fitting light gray T-shirt, dark gray shorts, glasses, and a backward red baseball cap. His sullen demeanor attracted attention as he wandered around his LA neighborhood.
Recent Cameo Appearance
Interestingly, this isn’t the only time we’ve seen Jones recently. He made a cameo appearance in Chuck Lorre’s new Max comedy Bookie, sharing screen time with his former co-star Charlie Sheen. Just like in Two and a Half Men, Jones played himself, delighting fans of the original series.
The cameo in Bookie, described as an Easter egg for fans of the original pilot episode of Two and a Half Men, showed Jones playing poker alongside Sheen and several of his real-life friends who also appeared as Sheen’s poker buddies on the earlier show.
Lifestyle Changes
While Angus T. Jones’ presence on television has dwindled since his departure from the long-running CBS sitcom in 2012, he occasionally resurfaces in public. His last appearance before this recent sighting was back in August 2023.
This latest sighting of Jones marks only the second time he’s been seen publicly in almost a year. In previous public outings, Jones has sported various casual looks, far removed from his iconic image as child actor Jake Harper.
