Tracy Tutor Talks Family, Career, and Split From Erik Anderson

Tracy Tutor says family matters contributed to her split from celebrity trainer Erik Anderson.

The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles star, 48, explained on Page Six’s podcast Virtual Reali-Tea that her relationship with Anderson ended because their future plans didn’t align.

Because of the big age gap, there is a time that he is obviously going to get to the place where he wants to have children and a family of his own, said Tutor, who shares teen daughters Juliet and Scarlet with ex-husband Jason Maltas.

Tutor jokingly noted that she felt like she raised Anderson but highlighted how he’s destined to be an amazing husband and father.

Tutor explained that dismantling their three-and-a-half-year relationship was difficult because it felt like a mini divorce. The couple broke up in the summer of 2023. Despite the end of their romantic relationship, they’ve managed to maintain a friendship.

Tutor acknowledged that watching the separation play out on screen during Season 15 of MDLLA might be challenging for both of them, but she’s optimistic about their continued friendship.

I think it’s going to be difficult for both of us to watch, she said, recognizing how painful the split was for both parties. She remains hopeful that reliving it won’t be as tough as she anticipates and aims to share her story with viewers who date younger men.

Tutor emphasized that maintaining a connection with Anderson has been positive for her wellbeing. He got me focused, he got me healthy. I live a very different lifestyle post-Erik than I did pre-Erik, she shared. With no luck in Los Angeles dating scene, Tutor has started eyeing Texas for potential suitors, attracted by their traditional manners.

Tutor noted that she is currently single and on a self-declared man break. After finding disappointment in dating apps, she sees potential in Texas, where she has also expanded her real estate business. She now considers seeking an older partner.

I think, ultimately, it’s time for me to consider a life partner, not a now partner, she reflected.
