The Best Uses of Pitbull Songs in Movies or TV

Pitbull picked his stage name with a fair amount of accuracy since he’s had to fight for a lot in his life when it comes to his career and the iconic canine that he chose to take his name after is often bred to fight and doesn’t know when to quit. That’s a fitting analogy for many people in the entertainment industry since the continual struggle to make it in the world is something that many people would agree is something that doesn’t forgive those that simply bow out when the going gets rough. In this manner Pitbull has been grinding for a while now and has managed to make something of himself that many people would agree is insanely impressive since in the world of rappers and musicians it’s a rather cutthroat industry that doesn’t allow for a lot of mistakes and takes someone that has the audacity and the game to really succeed.

Here are a few of his songs as seen in movies and TV.

5. The Fate of the Furious – Hey Ma

The latest in the Fast and Furious franchise is a thrill ride that hits the gas and doesn’t let off until the very last when the team is finally reunited and everyone is doing well. Dom unfortunately is forced to go rogue on the team for much of the movie as the cyberterrorist Cipher has his son, who he never knew about, and his former lover Elena hostage. Once Elena is dead and Dom’s son is secured by none other than his former enemy turned ally Deckard Shaw, the real mayhem begins as Dom turns on Cipher and aids his team in not only evading by blowing up her well-laid plans and making peace with former enemies.

4. Wrestlemania 33 – Greenlight

The WWE are all about entertainment as they tend to leave the sport aspect behind them at times in order to focus on wowing the crowd. One thing you can say is that they do put on one heck of a show since they get only the best and most popular entertainers for their pay-per-views. Sometimes the acts are followed by an amazing light show, sometimes astounding pyrotechnics. Other times it’s both that manage to get the crowd fired up and ready to see some guys go at it in the ring despite the fact that most matches are already pre-determined and will go the way they’re supposed to.

3. Empire – No Doubt About It

Empire seems like one giant snake pit with an amazing amount of talent by no morals to speak of. It’s the kind of show that you watch expecting someone to be topped each and every episode while someone else is going to pop up with some sort of drama that will make the previous episode look like a walk in the park. The show does have a host of convincing and powerful characters however, the best of them all being Terrence Howard and Taraji P. Henson. Centering it around these two was a wise move since both of them have what it takes to make or break a show when it really comes down to it.

2. Turbo – Krazy

Who else rolled their eyes when they saw a movie being made about a racing snail? Who stopped rolling their eyes and started laughing with genuine appreciation when they saw the movie? Anyone? Honestly this movie delivered more than it was promising from the start and it was fun to see as well as hear the number of celebrity voices that came out for it. The chances were never that great that it would become much more than a one-off despite the fact that a regular cartoon was made out of it, but that was okay since the movie was actually very entertaining and carried a great moral to it.

1. 2 Fast 2 Furious – Oye

A lot of people seemed to look sideways at this installment in the franchise as though it wasn’t quite good enough without Dom there. But when you stand back and look at it Brian carried the movie pretty much by himself and made up for the lack of acting from a few of the other cast members. Plus while it didn’t seem to do more than trail off the original movie it did set up another team member for later on and it even allowed Eva Mendes to come back for a post credit meeting with Hobbs that a lot of people might have to check out to believe. The people that created Fast and the Furious did have plan after all, even if some of it seems to have been made up as they went along.

Pitbull, for all the fighting he’s done to secure his career, has become insanely famous and can honestly claim that he’s one of the best in the business at this point.
