Eric
Benedict Cumberbatch takes center stage in the dark, gripping drama ‘Eric’. Directed by Abi Morgan, this tale embeds viewers into the murky world of 1980s New York, where Vincent, a genius puppeteer played by Cumberbatch, navigates the upheaval following his son Edgar’s mysterious disappearance. As he immerses himself in his son’s drawings of a puppet named Eric, Vincent becomes convinced that bringing Eric to life on TV will reunite him with Edgar.
According to Morgan, ‘Eric is a dark and crazy journey into the heart of 1980’s New York, and the good bad and ugly world of Vincent.’
