It was a night to remember as Miss Douglas County emerged victorious, claiming the coveted title of Miss Nebraska 2024. The competition, held at the Alliance High School PAC, brought together some of the most talented young women in the state.

This milestone event coincides with another noteworthy occasion – the third NCAA Championship meet at Oregon since the significant renovations of Hayward Field. The upgrades were made in preparation for the 2022 World Athletics Championships held in Eugene.

The new Miss Nebraska follows in the footsteps of previous titleholders who have made substantial impacts. She joins a lineage that includes Boston Pettera, who was crowned Miss Nebraska’s Teen 2023. This shows how deeply rooted these achievements are among young women in Nebraska.
