A Remarkable Journey
At just two years old, Greta Krob joined a “mommy and me” class. (At) two years old I joined a mommy and me class. I was a little bit wild so I needed something to get my energy out,” Krob said.
Her early start led her to competitions by age seven, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to gymnastics.
Stars Align for Greta
Krob’s efforts have clearly paid off, highlighted by her performance at major events such as Circle of Stars and Blizzard Beach competitions. Additionally, she earned gold on the beam, proving her skills among peers.
Aiming High
Greta Krob’s determination is mirrored by her coach Erika Briscoe, who has described her as an incredibly driven individual. She has really big goals and she’ll do pretty much whatever it takes to get to them,” said one of her coaches, Erika Briscoe.
Krob shared her ambitions succinctly: I’m hoping to make the national team one day, and compete at the Division I level.
Upcoming Challenges
The upcoming schedule for the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships includes significant events from May 30 to June 2, where Greta Krob will be competing fiercely.
Looking Ahead
On Friday, July 7, two Iowa Gym-Nest athletes Greta Krob and Brynley Applegate competed at the USA Gymnastics Hopes Classic in Katy, Texas, where Greta excelled in multiple events.
Jayden Roth expressed his pride saying, All of us at IGN are extremely proud of the hard work and dedication these girls have put in to become some of the top 10 to 14-year-old gymnasts in the country.
