History with Crazy Town
Shellshock founded Crazy Town with best friend Bret Mazur in 1999 in Los Angeles. The group reformed in 2007 and released their third album in 2015.
The band’s debut album, The Gift of Game, sold over 1.5 million copies upon its November 1999 release. Despite the success of their first album, their follow-up effort did not fare as well commercially.
Recent Years and Legacy
In recent years, Crazy Town attempted multiple reunions. The band released The Brimstone Sluggers in 2015 to moderate success. However, by 2022, co-founder Bret Mazur had departed the band permanently.
Seth Binzer’s final performance with Crazy Town occurred last year during a tour with nu-metal band Hed PE, wrapping up a tumultuous yet influential career in mainstream and rock music.
