In an interview, Taylor recounted how Dion was adamant about keeping the spasm scene. The singer believed that the inclusion could raise awareness about her condition. The very first thing she said was, ‘I think this film can help me… And I don’t want you to cut out that scene…’

Dion’s Determined Decision
While recording for the documentary, Dion unexpectedly experienced a muscle spasm. Stiff Person Syndrome causes seizure-like rigidity and painful spasms, making such occurrences exceptionally rare to capture on camera. According to Taylor, the likelihood of filming this was extraordinarily low.

This rare neurological condition has significantly affected her ability to perform, causing muscular rigidity and chronic pain.
