Tom Brady had an emotional night on Wednesday, June 12, when he was inducted into the New England Patriots Hall of Fame at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts. The 46-year-old former NFL quarterback, who has retired after stints with the Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, solidified his place in Patriots history with this honor.
The event kicked off with a smoke-filled performance by rapper Jay-Z, captivating the 60,000-strong crowd. Brady’s entrance followed his classic pre-game ritual, culminating with his iconic roar of “Let’s go.”
The star-studded night saw appearances from Peyton and Eli Manning, Michael Strahan, and Patrick Mahomes. Although Mahomes faced a few boos from the crowd, it highlighted the competition he poses to Brady’s legendary status.
A standout moment came when team owner Robert Kraft announced that Brady’s No. 12 jersey would never be worn by another Patriots player. Before Brady spoke, team owner Robert Kraft brought Brady to tears when he announced that his No. 12 would never be worn by another Patriots player.
