The second season of Paramount+‘s Tulsa King is making a highly anticipated return this fall, with the first teaser footage hinting at an action-packed season.
Fans can mark their calendars for September 15 when Tulsa King hits screens once again. The series stars Sylvester Stallone as Dwight ‘The General’ Manfredi, a New York mafia capo who relocates to Oklahoma to build a new crime empire. The show is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan and written by Oscar nominee and Emmy winner Terence Winter.
The new teaser has Stallone delivering a bold line: Tulsa belongs to me now. I don’t answer to any man.
This season sees some changes in the production team, with Craig Zisk joining as director while Winter returns as lead writer after initially stepping down due to reported clashes with producer Sheridan.
The plot of the second season promises high stakes and tension as Dwight and his crew expand their operations amidst looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a powerful local businessman. Dwight faces the challenge of keeping his family and crew safe while also dealing with unfinished business back in New York.
No shortage of drama, Stallone himself had reportedly called some extras “ugly” and “fat” while filming, creating controversy.
