Slow Horses, one of Apple TV+’s most acclaimed shows, is ready to return this fall. The much-anticipated fourth season will premiere globally on Wednesday, September 4, with the first two episodes dropping simultaneously. After that, viewers can expect new episodes weekly, leading up to the finale on October 2.
The acclaimed thriller stars Gary Oldman as unconventional spy Jackson Lamb and is based on Mick Herron’s award-winning Slough House novels. This time around, fans are in for a gripping start as season four opens with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, rocking the already unstable foundations of Slough House.
Returning cast members include Jack Lowden as River Cartwright, Kristin Scott Thomas as Diana Taverner, and Aimee-Ffion Edwards among others. Additionally, Season 4 sees new faces joining the ensemble – Hugo Weaving, known for his roles in ‘The Lord of the Rings’, and James Callis of ‘Battlestar Galactica’ fame.

This season is directed by Adam Randall and continues to honor its roots by drawing from Herron’s fourth novel Spook Street. The storyline follows retired intelligence operative David Cartwright, whose forgotten secrets bring about dire consequences.
Expecting another intense ride beginning with a bombing that detonates personal secrets, fans will likely appreciate seeing their favorite characters navigate through yet another tumultuous chapter filled with intrigue and dark humor.
