Nolan Gould Open to a Modern Family Reunion

Nolan Gould Open to a Modern Family Reunion

In yet another episode of the ongoing Modern Family reunion rumors, Nolan Gould has shared his thoughts on the matter. While attending The Cameron Boyce Foundation’s 3rd Annual Gala on June 2, Gould, best known for playing Luke Dunphy, revealed his willingness to come back if a reunion were to happen.

I love that family. I love that show. If there is anything in the works, you can best believe I’m in, said Gould.

Navigating New Fields While Holding onto the Past

I have no knowledge. Maybe he does. I don’t know what he’s up to, Gould confessed when asked about Jesse Tyler Ferguson’s recent return to the set. Despite not being aware of any concrete plans, he remains open to participating in a reunion.

It’s really hard because, on one hand, you do want to move on with your career and be seen as different things…but you would jump at the chance to relive some of the best years of your life and the character that I grew up doing, said Gould. This sentiment reflects the challenge of balancing one’s past achievements with new aspirations.

Strong Bonds Behind the Scenes

The camaraderie among cast members extends beyond the show. Gould maintained close ties with his fellow actors, especially those who played his on-screen family.

I still talk to Ariel every week. I speak to Ty and Julie. Julie is a person in my life [who] I always love hitting up for advice, shared Gould, indicating the strong friendships formed during their time on Modern Family.

A Step Back from Social Media

Since the end of Modern Family, Gould has delved into acting and writing.I don’t like social media…I’m taking some time to figure out my relationship with basically everything in my life…so I just kind of removed everything until I’m ready to show something, explained Gould. His decision to wipe his Instagram reflects careful consideration of his public presence and future endeavors.

The Legacy of Cameron Boyce

The event also provided an opportunity for Gould to honor his late friend Cameron Boyce. He spoke highly of Boyce’s family and foundation efforts.I call it a great honor to have been one of Cam’s friends in his life and to continue to be invited and to be out here supporting the work that his family and the foundation is doing to keep his memory alive…I’m happy to be here to be a small part of it and to lend whatever voice and platform I can to it, said Gould.

A Continuation of Dedication and Bonds

The interview reveals that Modern Family‘s cast stays connected through personal and professional channels long after the series concluded in 2020.

An insight also shared by Jesse Tyler Ferguson exemplifies this bond:We all really do love each other…we all care about each other so much…the relationships that I have on TV sort of bleed into my real life.
