Vice President Kamala Harris is finally heading back to late-night television.
After unexpectedly canceling her April 16 visit, Harris is now scheduled to appear on Jimmy Kimmel Live! on Tuesday, June 4. This will mark her second time on the show, her first being in March 2019 when she was running for president.
Previous Appearances on Late-Night Shows
Harris isn’t new to the late-night scene. Last year she’s been on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where she cheekily hinted at a potential presidential run saying, I might.
In 2022, she made her first appearance as Vice President on Late Night with Seth Meyers. There, she highlighted her administration’s efforts towards climate change, abortion rights, and pardoning those with federal marijuana convictions.
A Busy Campaign Trail
This appearance comes as Harris intensifies her campaign ahead of the upcoming presidential election. She has been actively working to secure support for President Biden, particularly among women. Recently, she also addressed graduates at the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado. There, she emphasized their crucial role in national defense by stating, Our nation is counting on you to preserve and extend that strength.

The announcement of her reappearance comes shortly after Charlamagne Tha God commented on Fox News about how he believes the White House has hindered Harris’s abilities, saying she’s been “handcuffed.” He explained,I know what she stands for and the things she wants to do, but she may not necessarily be in a position to do because she doesn’t want to overstep the president.
